Commonly referred to as chemical anchors or resin anchors they can be split into two main groups: capsule systems and injections systems. Both systems consist of two chambers, one filled with a polymer resin and the other with a hardener. Various resin types are available in each system from Polyester to Vinylester and Epoxy. Bonded Anchors are used for fixing threaded rod, internally threaded sockets and rebar to many types of structure.

Epoxy is the family of basic components or cured end products of epoxy resins. Epoxy resins, also known as polyepoxides, are a class of reactive prepolymers and polymers which contain epoxide groups. The epoxide functional group is also collectively called epoxy.

The fischer bolt anchor FBN II is a steel anchor for cost-effective fixings in non-cracked concrete. Due to the long thread and the two anchorage depths, the fischer bolt anchor FBN II can be used in a particularly flexible manner. The bolt anchor is also suitable for stand-off installation as well as pre-positioned and in push-through installation. The zinc-plated steel version of the bolt anchor is suitable for fixing railings, cable trays, and consoles in internal areas.Advantages

• The standard anchorage depth achieves the maximum load-bearing capacities. Thus fewer fixing points and smaller anchor plates are required.
• The reduced anchorage depth reduces the drill hole depth. This minimises the amount of time needed for installation whilst increasing flexibility.

The fischer bolt anchor FAZ II is the steel anchor for the most demanding requirements. Heavy loads are fixed into cracked concrete with the steel anchor. Due to the two anchorage depths and simple mounting, the FAZ II can be used in a particularly flexible manner. The proven expansion clip feeds the loads into the concrete in an especially secure manner and ensures maximum load-bearing properties. The zinc-plated steel version is used to fix loads in indoor areas. The steel anchor is, for example, suitable for fixing railings, cable trays and consoles.

A traditional fixing for attaching doors and window frames to masonry. They are zinc plated and yellow passivated and have anti-rotation lugs to prevent the fixing from turning during installation. They are made from glass fibre reinforced nylon.
